Sola calculates and monitors your sun exposure and vitamin D production based on the current UV index forecast, your skin type, existing tan, previous exposure, sunscreen SPF, and whether you change sides regularly when you sunbathe.

With Sola’s handy timer, you’ll never forget to reapply sunscreen, flip over for an even tan, or know when it’s time to seek shade.
APPLE WATCH INTEGRATION
It also comes with an Apple Watch extension so that you can manage your UV exposure right on your wrist.
WIDGETS AND LIVE ACTIVITIES
For users on iOS 17 and above, Sola offers Widgets that provide real-time updates on the current UV index, your received UV dose, sunlight-triggered Vitamin D, and an estimate of Safe Suntime. Additionally, Live Activities bring Sola's active Timer data right to your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island for seamless tracking.
HEALTH APP INTEGRATION
Sola seamlessly integrates with the Apple Health app to track your vitamin D production, UV index exposure, and, if available, Time in Daylight to get more accurate UV dose and vitamin D levels based on actual daylight conditions.
SUNLIGHT FRIENDLY DESIGN
Lastly, thanks to its monochrome themes, you can easily interact with the app in bright sunlight, and especially if you are wearing sunglasses.
