There are different voices that recite each name in this app to help you learn the names with your preferred voice.
The voices included are 2 male voices, a female voice and a child voice.
The child voice can help children with learning the 99 names of Allah.
Read and Listen to the 99 Names of Allah in Arabic, English and a transliteration too.
Learning quizzes are included which allows you to test yourself and measure your learning ability. You can learn the names in a number sequence order or a random order.
Multiple choice challenges are also included where you need to know the meaning for a given name and also the name for a given meaning.
Each name and in depth description can be saved for quicker access of your favourite names.
The simple interface present in the app makes it easy to play the name sounds and learn. This app works fully when offline too.
The 99 Names of Allah, also known as أسماء الله الحسنى Asma’ Allah al-Ḥusná in Arabic, are described in the Qu'ran and the Sunnah. The names represent specific attributes or descriptions of God.
Some of the names and their meanings:
Ar-Rahmaan: The Most or Entirely Merciful, The Beneficent
Ar-Raheem: The Bestower of Mercy, The Merciful
Al-Ghafoor: The Forgiving, The Exceedingly Forgiving, The Great Forgiver
Al-Haqq: The Absolute Truth, The Embodiment of Truth
