Mening over tumblr
Tumblr is een plaats waar mensen kunnen vinden wat ze zoeken. Waar mensen zich minder alleen voelen. En zichzelf kunnen uiten. Het is een plaats voor artiesten. Een plaats waar mensen zichzelf inzien. Het is wel jammer van de adult content. Het zou veel handiger zijn als sommige dingen nog zichtbaar bleven. Tumblr was namelijk de enige app waar mensen bepaalde dingen konden vinden en dit is nu weg.

I love Tumblr , but I haven’t gotten a single Notifications for over a month. Yes , the settings on my phone have Notifications on as well as the in-App settings have them on as well and yet , when someone likes , reblogs or even sends me an ask , I get nothing. The staff keeps adding and implementing things that don’t benefit anybody, especially not the community. The horrible censoring causes everyone to either lose their blogs or their posts for literally no reason.

There’s still porn bots and spam blog commenting on all the post they come across and instead about anything looking like human flesh is censored.
Honestly a whole mess, the program used to flag isn’t even good at all

I’ve been using tumblr for over 6 years and it used to be a place where everyone was accepted and where you were able to share art and ideas freely. However, the staff no longer seems to take the wishes and needs of their customers to heart. Deleting posts that are in no way violating there rules without warning and -more importantly- without granting the possibility to appeal the wrongly made verdict. Years of work disappear in a matter of days. While the problem they supposedly wanted to solve remains. I would recommend everyone to look for a different app/environment to share their life/art/ideas because tumblr is definitely not the place to do so. Once I’ve been able to retrieve my most beloved creations, I will move on with my life and away from Tumblr. I sincerely suggest you all do the same.

Hi, I’ve always used tumblr and have been for almost 4 years I think. But now I can’t even search a ship without the app giving me an “before you continue, here’s an update from us” even though I’ve pressed OK multiple times already. And I also can’t see my dashboard or activity (not that I’d have a lot of notes anyway). But I have no idea why this keeps popping up. So for now, it’s a 1/5
