Very good scan results when you hold your iPhone rock steady, at the slightest movement it's impossible to scan but worst is that when opening the scan application the shutter (like in a camera) gets stuck and only an OFF of your phone gets you out of this deadlock .. It's sad that when sending an email to the support division one never gets an answer .... And it's a paying APP...

Met horizontale kaartjes werkt het redelijk, hij herkent veel, toch is het aan te raden alles na te kijken. Verticale kan hij niet lezen. Dat is jammer. Gebruikt op 3gs en nu op 4s

resolution of of camera on the Ipod is not good enough

Nice application on an Iphone 4s with high resolution camera. On an Ipod Touch 4th gen however, the camera and the absense of a flash makes the app less usefull. A lot of reading errors happen while scanning business cards on the iPod.
I have benched it with a collegue scanning the same business card on the iPhone 4S and ipod. A world of difference!

J'avais acheté ce logiciel pour l'utiliser sur un 3G.
La première version ne permettait pas le fonctionnement sur 3G, mais ABBYY s'est vite rendu compte qu'avec une lentille additionnelle, le logiciel fonctionne aussi sur 3G et l'a donc autorisé.
Avec une coque de protection Griffin équipée d'une lentille amovible, ABBYY Card Reader reconnait parfaitement toutes les informations sur les Business Cards avec un 3G. (le 3G n'a pas l'autofocus)
ABBYY est donc aussi bon sur iPhone qu'il l'est sur les PC.
Un bon choix très facile à utiliser.

I paid for the ABBYY Business Card Reader V1.0 in March 2010.
i had to replace my Iphone due to technical problems. When syncronizing the new IPHONE 3GS, this application could not be found any more. The "report a problem" link on my invoice does not work (windows environment). The result is that I paid 3,99€ for an application that is now sold at 1,59€ and I do not have access to it. What a mess.
