The lack of service reliability disrupts the overall experience

Despite the great product selection and app user experience, the operations and customer service are very unreliable, disrupting the overall experience.
I returned one item completely unused. After a few weeks they returned it to me without any notification. After being solicited multiple times, more than a month later, they finally tell me that the item was damaged and couldn’t be returned, providing no evidence. It is clear the operations are badly organised and make the service unreliable - as a result the overall experience is unpleasant. This is a pity as Mr Porter offers one of the best online selection and user experience in their field.

Delivery

Great app! The interface is fluid and ergonomic. Just one thing about their PREMIER delivery in London: make sure you're home between 10am and 6pm. It seems that Mr porter dispatching of items works chronologically but that their delivery service works geographically, meaning that if you place an order at 08:00 am and select PREMIER delivery it doesn't matter if you were the first one to place an order in London, your order will not be the first one delivered. Somebody might place an order later and receive it before you due to their location w/r to the warehouse and delivery drivers. To conclude, once you've placed your order you'll receive a text message to let you know when your delivery guy will be there. Problem is, that delivery time can hardly be changed to a different one.
