Une récente mise à jour nécessite, sans y avoir préalablement consenti, une reconnaissance faciale via une vidéo pour se connecter. C’est une utilisation de nos données personnelles qui n’est pas acceptable. De plus, il est particulièrement difficile de contacter le support en dehors de l’application (surtout si on ne peut pas se connecter)…

Why is it still not available in Belgium ? It seems to be the only EU country not supported… There’s a waitlist but it’s taking yeeeeeears… 🤦 It’s a pity, it seems to be a very good app…

Supposedly people are being are waiting until they are able to process the account…
You are not! A lot of people from other countries but Belgium and others have been able to get an account. They are not transparent why this is happening. Probably because they are doing something shady or are not applying with the law in Belgium.

Worst investing app out there
Wait list has been going on for months now just to open a account once you do they do not accept any proof of address documents apart from driving license even though they say bank statement and others will suffise.

Practical, user-friendly and very reliable
This is honestly one of the most reliable apps to use for stocks, trading forex, CFDs, ETFs and many more. Transfers are easy, the use of the application is very handy even for people new to the markets.
Easily understandable.
Perhaps the only thing I would add is paypal payments/transfers. You can transfer with a variety of things including the SEPA ( European bank transfer - cost free)
Other than that I would recommend this app to all the people that ask me how to start with investing

Don’t waste your time
ID validation takes months, I’m still not even in. If you ask « why » they explain they got a surge months ago (which is BS, since I was already stuck), and I’m constantly asking (like once a month) to them to clear that queue.
9 months later still not in, while other apps like DeGiro, BuxZero or eToro took only hours or even minutes to let me join their network.
This is just ridiculous. I think they provide a good service anyway but they are not serious on few points including that one.

Very customer-friendly and easy to use for starters! Be aware tho: it’s free (no commissions) but they need to get money from somewhere! This comes from the big guys on top, so this is why some stocks won’t be able to buy... like GME and what not

I tried 6 times to buy HCMC for €100, my order got cancelled everytime. (Even if the price did NOT change)
After one week the price went up to €278,5.
As an 18 year old student who could really use the money, I missed my chance to make €178,5.

Trading 212 closed trade for two days on GME and AMC to ‘mitigate a risk’ this is not what the app is about or should be allowed.. they did exactly what the Robin Hood app did.

I’ve used trading212 for a year now and since a lot of new people joined stock market trading EVERYDAY this app is not usable for an hour or 2?! We are losing money every second i can’t close my positions or sell/buy stocks, this is ridiculous!!

Beaucoup d’actions disponibles par rapports aux autres courtiers en ligne du même type (Revolut, Bux, ...).
Dommage qu’il faille faire un choix pour la devise : EUR ou USD. Ça serait cool d’avoir ses actions en USD sur un compte en USD et ses actions en EUR sur un compte en EUR. Ce serait également pas mal de pouvoir avoir d’autres devises (GBP, CHF, SEK, AUD,....)
Trading212 n’est pas gratuit car ils se rémunèrent sur les spreads. Je pense qu’il faut le dire afin de ne pas tromper le client.

Not the best
The app is slow, if you are serious about trading this is not the way to go. Selling takes way to long, this will cause profit loss.
It is great for practice though.

Not trustworthy.
The app works great and you can do great work with it. But... as soon as you want to withdraw funds, it gets dicy. Takes ages to get your money back, you can’t chose where to send the money to (which account...) and now my last fund request went out of my app account and never reached any bank at all. The support ‘team’ just sends out bot replies.
Lost a chunk of money so avoid.

Be very careful
While the app looks good and is easy to use, there are some shady things going on causing you to lose money. While it looks good on paper there are no costs, you do pay in other ways. In auto mode, stock may get bought at rates far above the current stock price without any explanation.
CFD is nothing more than a scam that should be made illegal. For instance, if you have open CFD positions, a brief short “glitch” can occur causing your position to be closed at a loss.
