The game used to be so good!
This game used to be amazing and was a big part of my childhood, but it’s not the same anymore. Ads are everywhere, you can’t even play the car radio without hearing random ads. Almost every time you open and close the menu you also get an ad, even when opening the map you get an add. The music also used to be really amazing, then they changed it for some reason and now the main menu music feels off. Its so awful, it’s literally cringe music, and show exactly what went wrong with the game. The old music used to get you excited, the new music just reminds you of how bad it has become. Constant ads, no new original content, just the same old ideas recycled to make a profit. No new ideas like a map expansion or new missions, and a whole lot of microtransactions, which wouldn’t be a problem if the rest of the game was good. But with the constant ads even WHILE SITTING IN A CAR, absolutely ruin it. The game has gone from amazing to ok to bad but still playable to now almost unplayable. The only reason I sometimes still play is because of nostalgia and the beautiful map. There where probably so many good and talented people working on this, but because the studio decided to get greedy and show ads everywhere, they ruined it.
I don’t mind ads especially if watching them gives you something in return, but if its so frequent and you don’t even get anything in return for your “wasted” time then , it just sucks.
Thank you for ruining a childhood favourite of mine!
Please developers, you know you can make this game amazing. If you would just cut back on a series of bad decisions, I’m sure the game good be absolutely amazing. Take this criticism as advice, I’m not trying to be rude, I’m just desperate get the game that I loved back.
Things you should consider:
• cut back on adds (and ad sometimes when closing and opening a menu is ok, but not all the time, especially if it’s implemented in the game itself it just ruins the game.
• Bring back the old music (All the old player and even new players would like to hear the exciting and mysterious music that gave the game that feeling that is just unforgettable. I now this might be hard, especially considering copyright maybe, but if it is possible I would highly recommend it.
If only option 1 gets partially done, and there are no car ads, then the game would already be good. The game would be playable and players would not instantly want to quit the game. I know there are a lot of players that have quit because of this reasoning.
