Heb je zelfmoordgedachten en zoek je handvatten om hier mee om te gaan? BackUp biedt houvast met verschillende tools die je kunnen helpen een crisis te overbruggen of een volgende crisis te voorkomen. Ook als je er wilt zijn voor iemand anders, kan je met BackUp aan de slag gaan.
De app is bedoeld om snel bij de hand te zijn en op die manier snel steun te kunnen bieden op moeilijke momenten. Bovendien geeft de app toegang tot belangrijke contacten die je in nood een bericht kan versturen en geeft BackUp zicht op hoopvolle elementen wanneer je deze zelf niet meer kan zien.. Maak BackUp kaarten van activiteiten die je kunt ondernemen om zelf rustiger te worden op moeilijke momenten. Vul je BackUp Box met foto’s, quote’s, video’s en afspraken in de toekomst om naar uit te kijken. Maak in het Safetyplan een stappenplan om een crisis door te komen. Of help iemand anders er terug bovenop door iemands BackUp te zijn. Misschien zit je ook met heel wat vragen over hoe je bv. over jouw gedachten kan spreken, onder het luik Vraag & Antwoord kan je hier antwoorden op terugvinden.
De app kan je zowel zelfstandig gebruiken als samen met een vriend, vertrouwenspersoon of hulpverlener.
