This was taught by Lord Sriman Narayana to Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma taught this to Sage Narada, who in turn taught this to Maharishi Vedavyasa, who then propogated this through his son Sukha. This can be recited every day to obtain the benefits of reciting Srimad Bhagavatam.
