This handbook outlines useful teaching and learning strategies and handy tips for teaching staff working in higher education. The handbook synthesizes well-known learning theory, as well as provides novel conceptual strategies such as chunking disciplinary knowledge and seeing teaching as a leadership responsibility. It was developed with new career academics in mind from across the world, including graduate teaching assistants, particularly when teaching in Hong Kong and/or Mainland China.
