Emma Purdue is a baby sleep consultant in New Zealand, babies, and their sleeping habits are her passion. After nearly 10 years of helping mothers get their babies off to sleep she has lost count of the number of people she has helped.
With three children of her own, she has lots of experience, and fully understands the conflict many parents feel – torn between exhaustion and the love you feel for your baby.
In this episode, she explains about new born sleeping patterns & how their brains are wired, placing a factor. We talk about a huge topic every mom stresses about & how we make it more stressful than it needs to be, by reading & downloading apps that tell us exactly how it should be... it's Sleep Regressions!
We also dive into the judgment of sleep training & self-soothing. She is even an expert in toddlers & how to prevent them from yo-yo-ing back and forth from the bed into the hallway. What I would have done to hear this episode 6 years ago when I was a new mom.
