 How confident is your understanding of Compartment Syndrome?
The knowledge about lower leg chronic exertional compartment syndrome (CECS) is largely obtained from highly selected populations. Patient characteristics may therefore not be appropriate for the general population.
Exercise-induced lower leg pain may be caused by chronic exertional compartment syndrome (CECS). Anterior or deep posterior compartments are usually affected. 
We talk about a few case studies of ours recently and about our management and roadmap to diagnosis.
