In this first episode of the three part podcast series, Pride of the Nation/نشميات الوطن, on women in Arab militaries, hosts Dr Alia Brahimi and Dr Doaa' Elnakhala discuss developments within the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF). They are joined by Colonel Marwa Saoud, head of the Gender Department at the LAF and General Youssef Haddad, one of the first commanders to deploy female personnel to frontline units.
