Help! Charlie Miller (Ashley Benson), a D-list reality TV star with a rabid fan base, has just gone missing off the coast of Key Biscayne, Florida. On the case are Mark Green (Zachary Quinto), a deskbound police department employee with an encyclopedic knowledge of celebrity gossip, and Tiana Jones (Michelle Buteau), his no-nonsense colleague.
