I'm a genuine fangirl of this guest, and was deep into her lyrical lore long before I asked for the honor of this interview. I get the gay pleasure of sharing my Season 2 premiere episode with the insanely talented, Caroline Kingsbury. She's a pop/rock singer songwriter on the rise. She's also a fellow queer who was traumatized by her experiences growing up in a religious environment. We both bond and commiserate over that shared trauma, while laughing about the hard truths and long-term impact those early beliefs shaped our identity. We go deep into the songwriting process behind her album "Heaven's Just A Flight", the loss of her brother, surviving covid, and songwriting with some of pop's top producers.
