Sibling rivalry, a topic we hear about growing up in a family with siblings and one we become hyper aware of when raising kids of our own. Part of it is natural and lots of sibling rivalry can be provoked by dynamics parents create, consciously or subconsciously. The good news? Amy MccCeady is here to share her expert with them on how to help mitigate sibling rivalry, and also how to become aware of changing habits to make sure our kids grow up, supporting their siblings and not competing with them, as much as possible.

She walks us through some of the mistakes parents make when navigating conflict with their children, and how they can address rivalry in a healthier manner. She also reassures parents that some competition among siblings is normal and healthy; it can even help them learn how to manage conflict in other relationships in the future.
