For this second episode, we are glad to welcome Paris-based fashion designer Alphonse Maitrepierre, founder of his eponymous brand Maitrepierre. 

Anyone who’s been lucky enough to meet Alphonse knows he is a very special human being , on top of being a designer with a unique vision. His practice is playful yet highly technical, making him one of the leading figures in the Parisian emerging design scene. 

Since launching his brand in 2019, he has remained determined to work within self-imposed constraints, designing exclusively with deadstock fabrics and promoting the idea that fashion can be both eco-innovative and creatively bold. His avant-garde vision has helped set new standards in the industry and serves as a role model for many other brands.

We met Alphonse in his studio in Pantin, just outside Paris.
