JYD - Tyler Misalwchuk

Durée : 1:34:11
In this episode I sit down with Tyler Mislawchuk, a Canadian triathlete who has raced at three Olympic Games and has one of the most interesting stories in the sport. We chat about how he went from playing ice hockey in freezing cold Winnipeg to racing on the world’s biggest triathlon stages.
Tyler opens up about the tough transition from short course to long course racing and what really happened to him at T100 Singapore. We talk about some of the wild stuff he’s experienced, like learning to swim properly at 16, training through minus 40 winters, being written off by his national federation, and how he made his first Olympic team by going completely off the traditional path.
There’s plenty of banter, some good laughs, and loads of insight into what it takes to make it in this sport. Tyler’s story is all about resilience and I reckon you’ll enjoy this one as much as I did.
