excellent, enjoyable and inclusive!
tl;dr: an approachable and insightful look at video games as a whole. it’s delightful.
sometimes the news coming out of the gaming industry feels so far removed from anything my friends and i discuss, this feels much more....natural?
it’s really enjoyable to get their different (and often differing from each other!) perspectives.
Their experience in gaming journalism and the background knowledge that brings gives it this really interesting analysis that’s delightful to have access to.
....and just they’re four pleasant people that really want you to experience the same joy they get from video games. it’s heartwarming.

(their entire 2007 “mini-arc” was actually very enjoyable and i would not mind them delving back to review older games *wink wink nudge nudge*)
